Cru'dad tried a local field for 2 short outings less than 4 hours total. He could only get 3 scrappies, bits of Roman Brooches, & a jetton (plus bits...)

I wanted him to return to 'The Hill' where he had the Sceat. He tried gridding for 2 hours without any keepers, so he moved up to the Track-Way Site & then dropped down onto the low lying Roman Site (without a name). We had 96 Roman coins from this area last year & we were going to give it a rest this year but he was desperate to get some Roman Coins - which he did manage 6 scrappies in just over 1 hour - not too bad.

Nice hunt & Nice finds indeed! What can you tell me about that spiral button in the top left corner of the bottom photo? That's a cool little buckle, too!

I can tell you it's not a button...lol
If you could have seen the reverse, you would see it's a Drawer Knob.(18-19th C?)

I'm not very good with most bullets, but I think it's WWI hand gun?
