Hi Templar,
Nice find. I'd say well past the Byzantine Era. My guess would be Medieval/Crusader as you think. A little beyond the scope of my area of knowledge; however, I will try to pin down a good attribution for you. :)

Here are my guesses:
The cross appears either Italian or French. I'll choose French for what I see on the coin's obverse; the letters that seem to read...RISL........
There is an area in Normandy, France called Risle. Montfort (of Crusader fame) was from this area. A castle in Palestine, in the Crusader Kingdom of Arce, is still named after Montfort. I'd stay on that research path if I didn't have to first find a way to pay my late rent.

I cant find any info so far about this one, no such image on coin, i have checked every crusader coin i find on the net. I have 5 more and id-ed only one. I dug them during my vacations in Greece.

Actually, if we could ID one, it might lead to more easily ID-ing the others.
