Crusin with the Top down on the 4th, me and Ponce

Okay, haven't gotten to get out for over a week. That is the longest dry spell for me since I got back into this hobby. Snuck out this morning at 5AM to see if I could find anything. The first place I went, a local park, was pretty well cleaned out, found two zinc pennies and 1 nickel. Found several holes that someone had made prior to my arrival. Went to a school I wanted to check out next. Spent an hour in the pea gravel in all metal mode today with the Deleon and had a goal to see how many small signals I could find. Didn't turn out too bad. I had twenty other pieces of the small metal that is in the top left of the picture under the green pipe cleaner but I had put them in a pouch that had a hole in the bottom of it and I was NOT going to go back through the gravel once I discovered the hole. Lucky I carry duct tape, so my hunt wasn't a total loss. Didn't find any coins until the last 5 mins and that is when I found all the others you see in the picture. I did find two small charms, the convertible in the pic and a live 380 round that I do not know what to do with. Guess I will give it to a local police officer I know and let him deal with it.

Anyway the detector is put away and the BBQ is heating up. Hope everyone has a great and happy 4Th. Sorry I cannot seem to find any silver or really cool finds yet but I am not giving up! One day you will see me on here with an old silver coin.
