With the help of Burdie, here is 2 pics of the hunt area - one is current and the other is of a 1905 map.
In the 1905 map the semi circular area is where the roundhouse was located.

Please contact River Rat so she knows where you would like to stay or plan to stay. She can probably get you the best deal. The camping area is near the bathrooms and showers. I will check on electricity. They request 10 dollars per family for the weekend.

Re: CTH2 Information only please. UP DATES 9/18/08 NO REPLIES PLEASE

I have thought long and hard about what I have to say so not to hurt anyones feelings. So I will try my hardest not to do that. First if you notice that TNet is divided into a lot of different threads. A lot of them have nothing to do with each other. Some people are having trouble distinguishing that. You actually can choose to read or not read threads or posts. I have been playing on Politics and I do mean PLAYING. :tongue3: I think as a member I am allowed to participate on other threads. Some have chosen to tie in that thread with my hunt. That is not fair. CTH hunts has always been for relaxed camaraderie with friends and to share the hobby of metal detecting. So If you can't separate the two you might not want to come. Please leave all controversy's at home. It is to bad I had to bring this up.
Bless you all and have a great time when your here.
