CTH3 OFFICIAL SITE FOR THE HUNT.

I just watched the weather channel, OMG...I'm feeling for y'all, stay off the roads, stay warm & be safe. We're getting rain & winds, I definitely don't need the rain.

As Steve mentioned Spring is right around the corner...the robins have been arriving in groves (that's one tell truth sign).

Evy, I loved the shooting contest...I sure hope it's on the agenda for this year.

 RR

Lance is picking a load up in KC and is to deliver it in GA on Sunday. His route will be across Mo, Ky,west to east across Tn,then down thru Ga.It doesn't look good for the roads he'll be on.Any bets on whether he makes it on time or not? :dontknow:

So long as he stays safe! It will get there! It is still snowing here! :icon_sunny:

it's still snowing here, about 6 inches so far. It's supposed to snow all day so it's going to add up quick

Ireally don't know anymore about here they are telling about all the other towns around us but, not us and the amount ranges from already have 1 to 5 inches and I think I am going to have to go measure my self ! :dontknow: ;D

Well I bundled all up and trecked around the yard. I measured and got anywhere from 2 to almost 5 inches and it is still comming down! ;D

Woke up to snow and it is snowing hard at 1:50 PM. Looks like 3". Will be a lot more if it keeps snowing this hard. No ice. Big footOkie in Purcell is deep in snow and heavy ice. Lost power while talking to him. Said trees all destroyed completely. Some toppled on small shed. 4 wheel was no good on road. Had to drive in ditch to get back to his house. Has propane for heat and water. Sounds tough to me.

I need your cooperation please. I need to make a list of possible hunters. I will start another post just for signing in. The reason I am doing this is companys are looking to see the numbers of hunters before committing to donations. The other reason is it will help me in planning the hunt. This does not obligate you in any way so if you think it is a good chance you might attend please sign up on the new post. I understand holding off from paying it is along ways off yet and a lot can happen till then. If you just don't know yet but are thinking you might please sign. Those who have registered you don't need to sign. The title of post is CTH3 possible attendees. Thank you all.

Burdie
Thank you.

Prayers for BFO that he has power back soon! Still got it here coming down!

Sorry to hear about BFO's situation. Snow is okay but ice storms suck big time. I always had to work unbelievable hours during ice storms placing emergency generators so phone service would still be up. Very, very dangerous. Falling limbs and trees with roads insanely dangerous. It can do so much damage and there is nothing you can do about it except watch your trees fall apart! I hope nothing is hanging over his house and he is staying off the roads when he can!!!

THERE MIGHT BE GOLD IN 97 !!

They have us as 5 1/2 or more I guess it will be in the paper tomorrow! But, we are fine I am worried about the southern parts of the state here they are with out power. It was 1 degree this am when we left the house but I did not even zip my coat up with the snow and NO WIND (YEA!) it was great! :icon_sunny:

Measured 6 1/2 inches on top of 2 inches of ice in my yard. Monty
