A form of click bait for money generated by YouTube views? IDK that for sure, but... Some people won't open any video just for that reason, maybe got tired of 20 minutes to see someone dig a wheat penny.
Partly the fault of this site for supplying a forum to post video links.

Today is different than the past early days of the Internet, we all seem to be impatient, or is it a form of short attention span? IDK

Hi All, these are real videos, not just for spam or money as my YouTube channel is not monitized and is nearly 12 years old. I have a college degree in video production and a passion for treasure hunting. Been posting my videos in this forum for years to share the experience of my hunts with those that prefer watching a treasure hunt than just seeing a quick picture of the best finds. Not all treasure hunts produce amazing finds but it is still fun to watch. That’s what my videos are for; entertainment and the love of the hunt. I post videos in this subforum because that’s what I thought it was for, to separate pictures from the videos.

Hope this helps clarify my intentions.
