Curiosity got me asking, 1500.00 machine vs a 3000.00 machine. 4500.00 worth of machines best of best to some. What happen to the ctx, please don’t tell me it’s obsolete.

Well that tells me all I need to no, just another machine excuse me wireless. I’ve been waiting for superior finds that other machines can’t find. According to a few folks, it’s best thing since sliced bread, over hyped is common, as you stated another toy for today, thanks

Just bought a new CTX3030 3 months ago. Was using a Nox 800 for three years, and AT Pro 3 years before that.
If you have used an Equinox. the CTX3030 is not that hard to learn. Different than the 800, yes.

CTX is a well rounded detector with probably the best target ID system you will ever use. On coins it is hard to beat with any other machine. It goes deep and still locks on to coins and gives a rock solid ID on most deep coins. What it does not do unlike the Nox 800 is report on every small metallic fragment causing you to do lots of digging.

Want to go to an old park and clean out all the old deep coins without digging a lot of junk, then the CTX3030 is you friend. Cons: It is heavy. I must use a Minelab Swing Harness to avoid arm fatigue after 20 minutes not using the swing harness.

For all to no where I stand I think all detectors have a purpose young, old, professional, hobbiest. But my problem is some folks hype up something in all truth isn’t that much better, please if it finds things we been missing separate iron, if it cost a million dollars then worth it, you get my point but can’t for the god of me justify 1,600.00 for a machine that will in honesty find you very little improvements. Please folks admit it, it’s not jealousy it’s prove the banner finds, blow us away, we are fools, just show me the epic finds and I will say great but your not going to I’m still waiting the xp deus 1 version wheresthe special banner finds, if you don’t understand well then you never will
