I hiked about 15 minutes to a new spot from my research this weekend. Reached the old mining road and fired up the Nox. Immediately the machine starts pinging 25/26. So I figure it is bad emi so I noise cancel, but still am getting the right high tone exactly where I had turned on the machine. Thought, what the heck, I’m not even to the spot, but I’ll dig my first bottle cap or other piece of junk. Absolutely shocked to see a black Barber dime pop out. 60 minutes later and nothing else old at the spot, must have been mined over. Hiked across the park to another potential spot and another zero. So headed back to last weekends spot for the last hour and found 2 more Merc’s and a couple other desirables. Thx!
