Well, this is the first one I've found like this one where it looks intentionally carved to the side. Found in NW Georgia

are you kiding the point is at the left of the stem. It isnt close to symetrical even it it was intact.

Even the indians !$#@% up sometimes.
 

I have found plenty of field grade points.... there is a huge difference in ability.
 

I agree with others, looks like an impact fracture that was reworked. Before it was fractured it would have been a lot more symmetrical.

Looks like an adena that was used and broken then they hit it a few licks to get it back into service again
 

I’ve found a couple in New York State that seem almost rifled in design
