I saw one in a book. I forgot the actual name but, they said they where very rare so i doubt if this is one. One side is chipped on and the other side is flat, not sure if the one i saw was like that or not, cant remember. What do you think?

imo it looks like a paleo or transitional paleo uniface multipurpose tool to me, nice find.

It could very well be Paleo, but like Neanderthal always says, unless it is found on a known Paleo site or in conjunction with other Paleo artifacts it could also be from the Archaic or Woodland periods as well since they all utilized uniface tools.

It is a darn nice Knife though, Paleo or not.
