Nice finds. It is a shame the buckle got plowed. The cross on the cob tells us it is from the Mexico City mint. I have only found 2 cobs and both were from the Mexico City mint. Looks like you will have a lot of fun on that permission. Stay safe and keep swingin.

Thanks. This my 33 Spanish silver but remarkably 21 of them are cobs

Nice quality finds!

Very Good! It must be nice to be in COB country:icon_thumright:

It's too bad the buckle has been hit by the plow but I'd say the cob more than makes up for it! :icon_thumright:

Sweet toasted...cheers to spanish silver !!

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

That's the good stuff right there!

Congrats on the scores! Seems like a real old site!!

Well done on the silver and buckle.
Wonder if the buckle was annealed one could straighten it back up?

Great finds toasted. That plow sure put a hurting on that poor old buckle! The cut silver is fantastic!

I dont know. Probably someone more knowledgeable than me could. Its all there and would be one of my best early buckles if repaired

Thanks. Id say this one is around 1700. Site across the street is mid 18th. I tend to have better success finding 17th to early mid 18th century sites vs late 18th-early 19th. Ive found around a dozen pre 1700 silvers but only one state copper and no liberty caps
