Does anyone have any relics retrieved from the Battle of Tupelo, MS that they can post pictures of? My great-great-grandfather lost a leg there.

I just completed a research trip going from Charlotte, NC to Mobile, AL to Selma, AL, to Birmingham, AL to Tupelo/Verona, and finally to Nashville, TN.

FWIW, my GGGF was Captain of Co. B, 1st MS (Johnson's) when mustered in as "Mooresville Darts". Shoot me a backchannel if you will. Am researching a book on Selma and have been all over Lee County, MS with several folks detecting. An interesting battle together with Old Town Creek.

Am seeking Selma relics, made there and found elsewhere or recovered there.
