Relic Hunting
My son Chris and I were relic hunting in East Tennessee and got onto a small campsite in a cattle pasture. We found a few bullets and some buttons.

Chris found an Enfield bullet and a 44 caliber pistol bullet. I found a Galleger bullet, a 36 caliber pistol bullet plus a few buttons. Chris also found a nice brass trigger guard, but no other parts. The trigger guard has been broken for a long time, and is probably why it was discarded. Nothing really to brag about, but a good hunt with my son.

The ground was as hard as concrete...

Great hunt. Like you said great to get out with your son to hunt.. and to find those great relics BONUS!

Not a bad hunt at all. Time spent with your son is the main thing! Tennessee digger

Thanks guys for your comments.

Enfield bullet about a $1.00, Galleger bullet about $5.00, time with my son, priceless!

Seems like I've heard that somewhere before....
