✅ SOLVED CW Knife Sword Bayonet or just junk?

I dug this yesterday at a Confederate Camp in NC. I just pulled it out of electrolysis and cleaned it up a bit. It looks like it might be a knife or maybe part of a sword blade? Does anyone have any ideas? The piece broke off at the bottom. I looked around, but could not find the rest of it. Any help is appreciated in advance. Thanks!

Looks like the shape of a bayonet but it is a little big size wise though. I'll be interested to see what others say though.

If I recall correctly, it looks like the broken-off blade tip of a civil war era imported Prussian socket-bayonet. The Prussian's blade was wider than American socket-bayonet blades.
