Good Evening all,
On lunch today I thought I would stop at my local bank and buy some pennies and halves. They only had $20 in halves so I bought them. I asked how they get them in and the teller said from their customers as they do not order halves. They were in brinks wrappers so I suspect someones dump. Well, no keppers, all clad!
Secondly, I felt bad asking the teller to bring out alot of pennies so I just asked for $10. I got $25 over the weekend and only found one wheat so I didn't expect much. Well, this time I was pleasantly surprised. After a couple of dead rolls, I found a 1916-D wheat and out pops a 1905 Indian Head. Boy was I stoked! Decent shape, the Liberty is slightly visible. All in all out of the $10, 1 IH and 7 wheats. I can't complain. I am going back this tomorrow for $25 in pennies for the weekend.
I just love seeing the old coins and it reminds me of collecting coins with my dad. You can't beat this!
