FedEx dropped off my CZ 21 around 1 today and I immediately headed to the beach to try it out. I could actually ground balance the machine down at the waterline!!! my machine is definitely running more like the old CZ 20 I had many years ago. Now if I run the sensitivity too high it will false. Nothing particularly impressive found today except for maybe the ball peen hammer head. my most impressive find however was a nail, Yes you heard that right a nail. The reason is because I dug that nail out of wet sand from 19 inches. I didn't have a tape measure with me so I stuck the end of my scoop into the hole I dug to retrieve the nail and made a mental note how deep the handle of my scoop went into the ground and measured it when I got home. I found another small piece of metal, about as big around as one of those small watch batteries, and that came out from at least 10 in. Also found a coin from India. I was definitely hoping the machine would be better, but 19in on a nail? Damn. they replaced the battery door, fixed a broken speaker wire and recalibrated the machine all at no charge. Thank you Felix and thank you First Texas Products.
