Cleaned up good! I've had a few like that. Keep at it, good luck!

Nice Canadian. :icon_thumright: It cleaned up well.

Keep digging!

Hey ya never know till ya get it cleaned. that coin is way older than me! :icon_thumleft:

That did clean up real good

Good luck,
HH.

hate it when that happens. 'put it in a spud'...you mean u put it in a potatoe to clean it?

I have heard of the spud method but I had no idea it worked that well.

yup, put it in a potatoe, I cut a hole, slip it in, put in plastic for a day or 2. Didnt think this coin was gonna come around, it was so hard and crusty. When I take it out I rub it down with water and baking soda, dry it off and rub olive oil on, dry it up and ya got what ya got.

Good find on the King George  I've noticed them Canadian cents read just a little higher than the U.S. memorials do.
