DATE OF THIS BUCKLE?

I AM PRETTY SURE THIS IS A SHOE BUCKLE BUT WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS A TIME FRAME OF ITS AGE. HERE IA A PIC OF FRONT AND BACK.

Well... I'm only going of pictures and the fact that you are in New England...

But I'd feel safe saying it's a 18th Century Shoe buckle...

As shown above these 'shuttle' shaped framed buckles date to 1720-1790, I will chance my arm and say post 1750.
