Found this top piece but can't find any that match on the internet. Looks like it had ears to attach and on the right side says 20 reeds with an old fashion looking 2. Any experts out there to help me narrow it down? 20181231_205647.webp

Well the patent date on that appears to be 1893. I know they have made them for a long time. It is not the same as the one I have from the 1960s

And it isn't 20 trees. It's 20 Reeds. Which means it would be a standard 10 hole harmonica. One draw reed and one blow reed per hole

Yes, sorry, didn't notice spell check auto corrected it to "trees"

It's the side plate of a Hohner Harmonica from the 1920s. :thumbsup:
