Thank You to Danimal for a little tuning advice on the new Ace. Day 1 still learning how. Pinpointing was a breeze, learning all the sounds and signals will be slightly more challenging. An hour in the privacy of my own back yard, and we are off. 1 junior police badge, 1 big silver thingy(kinda pretty) no idea what it is. 3 memorials, 1 1953D wheat. And 1 tear jerker, it is a pendant for the Boutell Ladies Auxillary, My father who passed in 1992, drove truck for F.J.Boutell for 32 years. He hauled brand new Buicks all over the Eastern seaboard. Sorry, I was lost in the sentiment, and excited that my new Ace really works. Bongo

Oh TXgirl, I left out the complete Coors can, 14 aluminum milk bottle tops, 1 nail, 1 wire, and a brass bolt. LOL It was an adventure, I am thrilled with the Ace.

Great finds!!! Great machine!

That sure is a mighty fine bunch of finds. Congrats on your finds and buying such a great metal detector. You can't go wrong with a ACE 250.

If you get tired of digging in your yard, Danimal and I would be happy to help you out!!

Cleaveland to Flint, Michigan is quite a haul. But I have mapped out some 19th and very early 20th century sites you guys are free to try. Flint is the birthplace of General Motors. Lots of Automobile history in the ground, begging to be found, Bongo

Congrats on the first finds with your new unit. That machine seems to be quite a bargain and a value by the looks at all the finds posted on this forum.
Best of luck.

My first thought too. Someone is looking down on you. ;)

Nice way to break in the 250 and really nice finds. Congrats.

Bongo,
Looks like you've retired the privy probe for an Ace 250? ;D
Great job on the finds my Man, also the sentimental piece.
Just don't dig up any live wires in your yard, o.k. ;)

I know youve got the lowdown on some great sites.....the first obviously being your back yard.Looking forward to seeing some Flint area finds.....Joe

You know Joe, that makes more sense than anything I came up with. Thanks, Lee(Bongo)
