Day# 22 "Unexpected Streak Extender"

Have been taking some days for from CRHing and was out and about on other matters. Got a cell phone call from one of my "friendly Tellers" advising that she just got in four rolls of half dollars from a customer. Fortunately I was only a few miles away, so stopped by to pick them up. A search of the rolls yielded two 40%ers (no pic warranted). Made an unplanned extention of the streak. I don't plan on doing any CRHing until next week sometime. Want to give the banks a chance to "re-lode".

Funny how my banks around me never "reload". Too many unemployeed or retired folks out looking for the silver. Save some for those of us who work full time!

haha i do the same thing, go on a route then let them reload for 2 weeks then hit it again.

the reload certainly is true for some Banks but others not so, had a teller tell me they get alot of Halves in every week (it is a modest sized rural town). It strikes me the best day(s) to hunt is Monday afternoon & 2sday morning; every Wednesday when I was Crh'ing they always said someone got them yesterday.

You are right, Obe. Mondays and Tuesdays are the best because most people go to the banks on Saturday to make deposits etc.

I often take a few days off, to let my area reload. It's a good way to keep the streak going. If you hit the same area every day eventually you will get skunked.
