Got in another evening hunt in the hay field, still hunting around the well.
Sorry, but I did not bring my camera with me this time, so no pics of them in the ground
Found a flying eagle penny, my first
It looks like a 1858, hard to tell.
Before I could tell what it was, I was confused why a penny was giving a +30 VDI :P
Got another braided hair large cent,1851.
Then popped a plug on a +75 VDI to see a gold colored coin, some merchant in the 1850s played a mean prank on me.
Cleaning it off, it turns out to be a New York hard times token.
Dug a very crusty large cent not date that I can see yet (I thought for a brief second oh look another crappy braided hair, then had to remind my self that its not every day someone can dig up a large cent of any kind)
Last I got a + 90 VDI and I was thinking come on big silver.
Nope, a large copper, larger then a large cent in fact, so I will call it a larger cent
Its a 1837 Canadian bank token one penny, Sweet! That's 2 in the last week ( the last one was a 1844 half penny)
Here are the coins not too much detail on them, this field eats copper

Here is the a pic of what the Canadian coin looks like in better condition.

and one of the token

and lastly a whatsit
A metal smoking pipe? Feels heavy like lead.
