Day 8 - Big Grass Field........

[CRUSADER]

Did an early morning hunt from 0900 until 12:15. Still frozen frostie ground but a lovely bright day with little wind.

4 scrappy romans - good total for this field
Silver plated spoon, I got the bowl, Dad got the handle.
17th century clothes clasp (hook missing)
16th century 'Knights of the Holy Sepulchre' brass cross 8)
Nice late Med. buckle with replacement pin

I got two silver sixpences (cica 1690s) bent into Love tokens. Both times I thought I had a hammered :P Funny thing is on day 3 (see below) I had a 1696 sixpence and made a comment about the rest I had being love tokens & now I get two more
