Day of Firsts... Silver, Gold, Coppers, Cow bling

Had a productive day yesterday. Headed out to an old courthouse that's been hit hard over the years. pulled up lincoln after lincoln until I almost just avoided detecting those 79 signals altogether lol.. then I get a bright 87 solid 6 inches down, out pops my FIRST standing liberty quarter which makes it my FIRST silver of the year. So pumped.... 20 minutes later, a bright 83 rewards me with a Rosie silver! The only other notable find from this site was a wheatie.



After a few hours, I headed off to a mid 1800s farm house. My very first signal was a choppy 78 - 80... it ended up being a wheatie coin spill!! I ended up snagging 4 wheaties and a 1929 Canadian penny out of the same hole!! Within an hour, I had dug an 1899 indian head and some more clad.

I then get a solid pull tab mid tone. I was surprised when I opened the plug to see GOLD. Even tho it's just a rolled gold ring, I was still pretty darn happy. First gold-colored object I've pulled out of the ground in 4 years!



As I was getting ready to go, I decided to swing toward the front of the property 10 ft off the driveway, about 20 ft from the road... I get a super high silver dollar tone... and of course I'm thinking to myself, oh great, another crushed Budweiser can... then I open the plug and see this...



My first half dollar ever! Too bad it wasn't 10 years older, but I'll take it!

Silver plated Buckle? If anyone can help me identify this item further, I would appreciate it! It has a very cool looking Victorian design

Thanks a lot guys. I rubbed some Wrights on it tonight but didn't do as good of a job as I thought it would. A lot of the silver plating has come off over the years. Oh well.. I still love it.
