Spent 2 hours on the Huge field with freezing driving rain. Had to retreat home & re-group. We decided after only finding 3 Pennies, 17th century token, and a nice piece of Roman pot which I dug from my first hole, that we would go else where. If we are going to get cold & wet we may as well find stuff as well!

So onto the stubble field which is are only other option. In 2 hours we got:

3 Roman bronze Coins
4 buttons - Kings Own (early 1 piece), New Zealand Forces, ASC, & GR.
A surprise Belgium 2 Cent dated 1874.
My first broken 18th Century pewter hawking whistle.
and bits.....

We went home wet & happy.
