Well, this is either my last post or one of many new ones. I know I haven't posted much, I'm more of a lurker. The wife just might kill me after next Tuesday. I just ordered a brand new Minelab SE Pro to go along with my DFX. A Christmas gift to myself. After reading about all the finds by Kermit, along with others, I took the plunge. Now I need to get out to XXXXXX. I live in DuPage and am very near Kane Co. Its sorta like horse thieves in the county areas. I think both are shot.

Guess we'll see how things go next week.

I just recently got an etrac and realized my digger was not good enough anymore! You may want to think about a birthday present or something to go along with that SE

You need to think ahead on these things. About a week before you want to order your item you hang around trying to "help" her with different projects around the house. But all the while just get in the way and do it all wrong. As soon as she says something to the effect that you need to get a hobby you go order your item. Then it is her idea, just make sure you go "find" a nice ring or some such.

Actually I'll probably be "dead" sometime tomorrow . She checks the CC account on a regular basis, just too tired after teaching today. I'm already retired with a LONG list of undone chores, LOL. With winter coming I need to get a PART TIME job, its getting boring. "HI, welcome to XXXXmart. Do you need a cart and does the brat need a sticker?" I'll probably last about 4 hours before I punch someone!!!!

Aww shoot! I've got a used one up on ebay right now. If she kills you, just buy mine instead and you can detect after you're dead for cheaper.

Those SE's are deep machines! I'm sure if you survive the weekend you'll have a lot of good finds to post! I look forward to seeing them!

This is a funny post.....If I did that....which I was going to do on an etrac...I know I wouldn't be using it cause I would be DEAD....I was told I have to sell my SE and my XLT before I get the Etrac....

OK, UPS delivered the new SE and assorted goodies. I'm going to wrap it up so I can surprise myself Christmas morning. My wife still hasn't checked the CC, so I'm safe for now. She doesn't have any idea about my Christmas gift (to myself). I did however pull the instruction book out to read. What in the heck did I get myself into I feel like I'm back in school. 6 or so inches of snow too !!

Gotta go practice my "surprised" look

I'd not use that as evidence until it comes back proof positive that it is indeed Gold. I am a little dubius given there is no maker's mark on the clasp, atleast pictured. Nothing like a retraction, though not OP's fault. I am sure there are many many other banner finds up there not made by Etracs and some perhaps even by an MXT -- didn't Joe make the banner at some point?
