Ok, I'm still around. Question: How do I charge the batteries while I'm living in the shed in the rear of the property? Its COLD out here too plus over 12 inches of snow.

Thought about it a lot and just cannot afford the Etrac. Believe me, I'm really interested in trying one and using it but I just can't shell out the dollars for one. Probably won't be able to in a very long time.

It was sure fun to think about it though...who knows. Maybe i'll stumble upon a thousand bucks some day and take a ride over to a certain Mr. Shore for a new toy.

Alrighty, its the 30th and either the wife has not yet checked the CC balance or I'm ok with the SE. She has let me back into the warm house but that's probably 'cause she didn't want to drive one of the daughters to O'Hare. The kid and her boyfriend (and Devil Dog) are flying back to Fort Lauderdale (home, Boynton Beach) where its 76 degrees and 10 minutes from the beaches. I checked and its $86 OW there and back towards Feb. HMMMMM. I helped with the house so I say I can sleep there anytime I want !!!!

Now I know that there is dirt somewhere under all this snow but first I guess I need to put the MD together. Just reading the manual has got me all good to go but darn this thing looks like a real challenge. Huge learning curve compared to my DFX it seems. At least I can hear the tones inside. Maybe we can get a winter thaw, wishful thinking, huh? This is going to be a LONG winter

OK, I'm going to go look at the live beach cams in FL, feel sorry for myself and try not to break the SE when I put it together. Coil on the bottom, right?
