Dean's (Whitby Canada) Relic Hunting article (good reading)

Hello all,

Got a link here to a good article that i thought you relic hunters might like to read. Some of you may be familiar with the UK relic hunting magazine called The Searcher and in the latest issue they had a feature on a Canadian relic hunter named Dean is is an avid collector of military medals and other relics. The article is in a PDF format and can be found at the below link just check the attachment in the thread of this link the attachment is titled Dean's relic hunting article and is a very good article. If you happen to read it and like the article please congratulate Dean on his being featured in The Searcher which also BTW is I believe the first time that this UK magazine has had a feature article on a north westerner.

Check it out.

Re: Dean's (Whitby Canada) Relic Hunting article (good reading)

:) Howdy there Stringfrenzy, Nice to see your post over here on TNet. :) I slipped over to THunting.com to read up on Dean's kool thing you wanted to share with the good folks over here. 8) Man, that's a rush when someone you know from the boards or maybe you have even communicated with this man, is now among the"semi-famous", as some folks call "getting published" or being featured in a hardcopy Treasure Magazine. :o ??? ;D Nice that it happened to him Stringman, looks real good on him. But you know, you or I or anyone else on these two very hep, THunting forums could be next. ;) Like so many other things in our lives, it's all about choices, decisions, beliefs, desires etc. etc and we all get to make our own.

Hope lots of folks scoot over there for a peek at Dean's 15 minutes of fame, as they say. Learning about and sharing treasure hunting related info, is what these forums are all about. As a matter of written fact, I'm proud to say here too, that I currently post in both forums, and I quite consistantly mention how good all this exchanging of info about our love of TH'ing, is what makes these boards ROCK! 8)

On a different note, more of a lay-back kinda, kanuky styleish, sorta way, when can we get to see another of your neat posts in here. I know you're loaded to the hilt, with real life adventure stories and yet, like lots of us to day, are perhaps kind of restricted to being able to only do so many things in one day. Next time ya get a spare few minutes, stick something up on one of the boards here, to help enlighten some of our newbies and entertain some of the folks that have been in here for a while... ;D ;D

Thanx again for sharing there, fellow wand swinger! ;)
