Decided to try a box of nickels for a change of pace yesterday -

[Emperor Findus Cladius]

and got some fair results. Ended up with 2 silver war nicks, 9 pre 1956 (I know a lot of folks save any pre 1960, but I personally just save up to the last time they made an S mint mark in the 50's myself) and 1 1980 canadian nick.

Pretty good results Wayne. Since halves have dried up around here I think I'll concentrate on nickels more.

Better than me! My nickels (box and a half) yielded no silver but some 38's and 39's and other various pre-1960 dates. Been searching pennies and am finding quite a few wheats to help fill up some of my coin books...
