Hi all-- Found this decorative round item on a field hunt this past Sunday. Former 1873+ home site. I have a feeling it might be part of a horse harness, but that is just a guess. It is fairly heavy. Any ideas?

TIA for any help!

It looks like a saucer from a miniature child's tea set. Is it pewter? :) Breezie

Wow, great eye Breezie! :occasion14: I kept thinking horse tack but can see that is wrong. Yes, it does feel like pewter.
Thanks for the help, you folks are the best.

p.s. I did (eyeball) find what I thought was a broken child's tea cup the same day.
