Well have not been able to get out to swing for a few months had to send the Delta 4000 in because it was acting up. So went out with my favorite machine the EPT but it was not working correctly so off to the shop it went. Ok thought of going out with the F2 nope the power button not working so off to the shop. Got the Delta back and the shop said no problem found. got the ETP back with new circuit boards but as I was testing it found that the numbers were way off so back to the shop. Ok so today decided to swing the Delta at the parks and lake but that was disappointing. The delta kept acting like it was getting EMI but no matter what settings I used it would go haywire. I am starting the detecting gods do not want me out swinging. BTW the Delta did find a whole 45 cents today and a load of pull tabs, Still waiting on the ETP and the F2 to show up at my door. Might try my luck again tomorrow with the ACE 250 if my arms can swing that heavy machine. I need some prays to the detecting gods for me

Well I did no detecting today. I got out of the hospital this morning and stayed in the house as it was so hot by the time I got home and the wife asked me not to go in the water today since I had my accendent yesterday. So going to hit a yard in the morning before gets to hot out.

Man 2 maybe 3 machines Down.
Just reading that depressed me.

I had a down day yesterday myself ,in the Heat & humidity, makes me want to indulge more in my other hobby (Shooting)
for the rest of the Summer but that costs more than I have right now.

But I know ill get the detecting itch again by the end of the week.

p.s. I hate CW sites that are to be developed & have NO TRESPASSING Signs every 10 feet :BangHead::BangHead:

Hope you get your Machines back in working order & you can dig some Great Stuff .

Davers

Papalittle, I feel your pain.
I haven't had machines failing, I've been doing poor research, thus bleak finds. Last 3 outings have produced 1 large cent and one tick.
Two of the sites have prime history, but when I/we arrived, the topsoil had been removed for a soon to be built industrial complex. The third was impenetrable with thorn growth.
Back to the permission board I go...
Better luck to ya...
Peace ✌

Yeah man gotta hang in there.
'Don't stop bleve'in , hold on to that Feeling'!.....

Wow, if I were you I would be pitching a major fit and then going out and buying myself a new detector just because I was pissed and deserved one. I will say a prayer you get one of them working properly and don't have a stroke while you are waiting.

Got the F2 back and it now turns on and off when I press the power button! The delta is still messing up so its going back in for repairs again. Still waiting on the ETP to show back up.

I'm stunned to hear that multiple detectors would be malfunctioning simultaneously ! I hope the manufacturers are taking on
the responsibility !

You need a dependable clunker for times like the one you are experiencing. Old TR, or Tracker IV, just something that works half way decently for some relaxed coil swinging, nothing serious, but it might get you on a hot spot to be cleaned out once your main machine gets going again. Then take the batts out of the clunker, and hang it on the wall until it is needed again.

If it was me i would be switching the brand of detector i had ....

Papa little you have made me rethink selling a BH Tracker IV I bought to make a couple of bucks on. Guess I didn't think about having my MD break down.

Wow! That is weird, 3 detectors go down at the same time for different reasons.

Hope you get them back working well very soon...then take a few days off to go detecting!

The Eurotek Pro is on its way back, Delta 4000 on its way back to 1st Texas Products again. have not taken F2 out yet since getting it back. Ace 250 begging me to take it out (good old dependable Ace).
