i had heard they had confederate prisoners constructing stone walls in that area,maybe get some good finds(buttons,shells,belt buckells)

not at all familiar with the rebel prisoners story.?
May I ask where that came from?? If not, O.K.
Area is a stone quarry area, so that would tie in.

Do know that the CCC folks did a lot of work in the area in
the 30's 40's.

i have a cousin that lives not to far from there and he said that theres markers posted that explaines about the stone walls,i'm planning on going there when the weather breaks,it's about 45 min from me,how about you?
