Hello, I got this thrown in with a lot at an auction.
No one can tell me anything about it. I have contacted Celine Paris AND Christie's Auction house.
The only thing Christie's could tell me is that maybe it was made for Celine for use in their Salons.
So I am posting this in hopes of finding someone with some info on this.
It is 5 inches across and is heavy brass with an enamel inlay that is the offical seal of Celine Paris from the 1970's.
I have not cleaned it so as not to damage the patina on it until I know what it is and how much it is worth.
I would appreciate any help you can give me.
