Desperate Times!

[CRUSADER]

We spent most the morning with 2 farmers which turned out well as they offered up more land for the future. We also tried 2 fields for 3 hours with little success - 1 recordable - Rose Farthing!

Roll on the harvest.

Most were dropped from aircraft before landing.

Do you find a lot of old ordinance or is that a rare find for you?

[EasternShoreMetal]

NICE! As always, I'm amazed at the things you find.. HH!

[Westfront]

Congrats! New land is always welcome!

[hogge]

Desperate times!!?? I guess it really must suck not making the Banner every month. For me.....This whole metal detecting thing is 95% disappointment.......5% reward!

We find a fair bit, mostly dropped out of aircraft in WWII.

Your best find may have been that offer to hunt more land next season. That could turn out to be a gold mine - you just never know.

Yes, you need to keep working those relationships & some like these two were much harder than most.
