DetecterPro's First Gold?

I decide to hit the shallow water at low tide today with my DetectorPro PI and see what I can find. Along with the usual beer caps, I found a LIVESTRONG band, plastic earing, very small pot, and what might be my first gold ring of the year with this DetectorPro MD. It gives me a little bit of enthusiasm to go out and buy a good scoop to go with it..

Make sure you get a big scoop. Mine is too small. With the waves you want to scoop it up on the first try. I almost quit water detecting out of frustration with my little scoop.

Yeah it might be a good ring to of gold.
I got a low-end detector to somewhat, a "VLF by Bounty Hunter"
however it does seem to do good.
It goes down about 10 inches and I'ev found lots of coins, but not
real old ones.
So I do think location is very Important, and doing lots of reseach
on my area. So just keep digging brother !
Good finding the ring, I haven't found one yet !

if your not sure if it's real gold...check the inside of the ring.. It will be marked with the karats if it's real 10k 14k 18k if there are other intials other then just the k for karat list it on here one of us will help you what they mean...

if your not sure if it's real gold...check the inside of the ring.. It will be marked with the karats if it's real 10k 14k 18k if there are other intials other then just the k for karat list it on here one of us will help you what they mean...

It looks like gold but no markings. We have so many tourists from other countries here that I think its possible to find gold without markings. I have to test. Either way, its very small but better than pennies and bottlecaps.

As far as my detector, it an $800 DetectorPro HeadHunter Pulse. It does have decent depth but its constantly malfunctioning and NOT waterproof. I have to keep the electronics above the waterline. But I have to use what I got and its better than my 70's Treasuremaster Amphibian.

Thanks. Its my first gold with this MD on the beach this year. I changed title. I found my first gold in the 70's.

I was almost ready to give up beach hunting. I HATE CLAD! This may give me a kickstart, gold or gold plated. I like hunting the water when the waves are calm like today. I need the Stealth Scoop.
