Has anyone had to replace a battery in their Deus remote, ws4 or coil? Specifically, I’m wondering how long did the original one lasted and how much it cost to replace on a Deus that was out of warranty? Has anyone done this on their own?

It's easy to replace remote and headphones batteries. Fleebay has some for sale, around $20 or check with metaldetector.com . Coil--you need to send it in. Main thing on Lithium battery life is try not to completely discharge (although circuitry is supposed to protect this but do not leave it in discharged state), don't store it at full charge or high heat, don't leave on charger longer than three hours. If you don't follow these guidelines, expect decreased battery life.

There are some videos showing people doing it on YouTube. If your good at tinkering around and have ever replaced a cell phone battery it does not look any more complicated than that.
