I went to a different park in the rain to get my fix and found 5 wheat cents and a 1902 Indian Head Cent. My oldest coin yet. I'm soaked and pretty stoked.

The wheat side was worn pretty flat but I could kind of tell. I just thought it was an old wheatie, but when I got it home and looked closer I discovered the Indian Head.

Loving me some Deus!

One of my wheaties was from 1919 too. It was pretty sandy ground and they were in pretty rough shape. Not deeper then 5 inches or so.

I want to get back there so bad!

I looked at pictures of the IHC online. I guess it's not wheat in the back. It's different. Mine is pretty worn and I couldn't tell. Rain today. I might not be able to get back there until Monday.
