I lost my hunting partner today.:cussing:
It was a good run....
5 years, almost $500 in clad, hundreds of silvers, countless relics, an honorable mention, and 2 banners.
I knew the end was near, her subtle cracks, worn handle.... it was only a matter of time.

BigwaveDave, I lost the same one in the spring, in the woods... I hunted for it twice with no luck, bought a twin to it and then, this fall, when I wasn't looking for it, I found it in the woods when I went detecting there... LOL Always good to have a spare... lol

dang, that is sad, my condolences!

Never thought I'd see that picture.. Good friends like that are hard to find. May he rest in peace....

Dave, you weren't digging in Georgia were you? Lol. My condolences. What a shame, your partner was sharp looking too.

I didn't know that kind of failure was possible with a Leche !

The years of chasing Lincoln cents in palm tree root balls has taken its toll.
That, and I’m stronger than steel too.

Dave reincarnate it weld it then grind her down smooth and ready to go she doesn't want the plug pulled just yet

The weld point will be the strongest part kinda like when a bone breaks it grows back stronger
