I bought a Dewar Highlander walking stick cane at a flea market for $7. Dewar Highlander is a Scottish whiskey. I really like that craftsmanship on the ball/handle. I don't collect walking sticks but this really caught my eye. I will not use this one as I think its worth more that $7 and want to keep it in nice condition.
I do have a brass rabbit head cane that I bought last year for $2 at a garage sale. I joke that it's gonna be my future "old lady" cane. I will be walking in style! Lol....

That is a beautiful cane. I wouldn't use it either. I found a brass duck cane that unscrews and has a dagger attached to top. I really like that one. Congrats!

Cool cane. I have a few I need to get rid of myself. I have a habit of buying vintage canes if they are cheap. One like yours managed a $100 bid back in Nov. 2014- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Eng...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Here's some of mine-

I don't know if it unscrews. I'll have to check.

It might be a hollow flask cane.

I never thought of checking canes out to see if they unscrew to find if the have any hidden gadgets. I won't look at a cane the same way again! Lol.. I will definitely inspect them a little more at garage sales & flea markets.
