Anyone got any idea what this item is? It's 1.5" Diameter and about coin thickness. Steel not copper.
I found it yesterday and had to do a little CLR work on it to identify what it said.
I see 1,2,3,4,5,6,SUB,WC and OUT. It has a keyway notch under OUT and has a hole as if it was tied with something.
There's nothing on the opposite side.

Could be the dial from a lady's pendant watch. Thus the hole.

Perhaps part of an electrical component(?)

That's a strange item..
It looks like it could be a utilities tag to mark the location of underground water or gas pipes.

It's notched/marked at the OUT so I think they could notch at any of the numbers or words depending on situation. The numbers might be pipe diameters. So utility use?

This what AI offered. No guarantee it is right, of course.View attachment 2209534

Sounds like you've led me to possible clue here. Our water meter guy comes around every month. I might ask him next time. Thanks for the research on this one. If I find any more, I'll update the site.
