Diamond band of agate?

Found this, wondering if anybody could tell me type of agate? Or what it is? The band comes to a point on both sides

I would call it a fortification agate.

I think I'd also call it fortification agate. It's a really nice piece.

Very nice find. You could also call it a floater because it appears to have crystalline quartz surrounding the fortification banding.
