Since Dick left Minelab usa, does anyone know about his where abouts.
He was one of the most knowledgeable people on the minelabs esp the sovi,excal and early SD detectors.

Great weath of info. I thought i read somewhere that he might be working with DOC's out in Vegas... but id be surprised. We all hope hes writting a book.

What would realy be cool is if he is writing a tech service manual to help us all repair our older detectors that Minelab no longer wants any part of.
I hope some sort of intellectual property agreement dont get in the way of him sharing his knowledge ... or better yet setting up shop somewhere to do mods and repairs.

I still correspond with Dick. He says he is enjoying his retirement is finally getting time to go nugget hunting! HH Randy

Dick has certainly helped us in many ways. He has been responsible for donations of detectors at our camp here in NC. The kids use them all the time and just love it. Thanks for all the help! mike
