the first one is a 1908 canadian cent.

They were both in rolls of quarters.

I know an MD in Canada who has found quite a few of those heads / tails coins.
 

That Canadian cent is great! It's probably the oldest Cdn cent found in US circulation in some time. I've been thinking about starting a collection of those myself. Something tells me hunting quarters for them isn't the way to go though. :)

Nice finds. I found one of those "Heads I win Tails you lose" tokens myself before. Both of those finds are worth more than a quarter. I had a teller give me 2 silver quarters today for face value when I went in to pick up some .50 boxes I forgot all about.
