This is a little bit twisted but should be fun!

I'll start it off with a real unique one, "The Hydrosweep"!

The Hydrosweep was an experimental concept vessel that was first concieved to be used for helping to contain and hurd oil spills - after the Exonn Valdes oil spill debackle.

She had two 36 inch axial flow hydraulically driven water pumps that could move over 60 thousand gallons of water a minute each. We had them plumbed to to 42 inch by 10 inch by 4 foot articulating nozzles that could be positioned up to 80 degrees downward!

I was retained to run a series of beach nourishment experiments in the early 90's at our permitted Jupiter Shipwreck Site. Over three seasons we substainciallly altered this vessel and moved an awful lot of sand within the near shore environment!

Here is some bottom we exposed!

Remember you always have to check out all the cracks!

Oh, and nice wetsuits you guys have on Dom!

Here are some dig boats as promised:

1)the Grifon, which belonged to Bob Marx, 2) the Derelict, used by the Real 8 Co.( both photos heisted from Terry Armstrong) and my favorite, 3) the Virgalona, captained by Mo Molinar. And just for a little trivia, when you log onto Treasurenet and see all those gold coins as the background picture-that is from the pile of 800 gold coins that Mo found on The 1715 Nieves shipwreck back in 1988.

Here is the salvage vessel Dare. It used to belong to my good friend Art Hartman. He backed the Dare up almost to the beach one calm day on the 1715 Corrigans site and blew a hole so hard coin conglomerates were flung onto the beach! Art recently sold it to Kim Fisher and it is now being used on the Atocha trail.

It sure will be nice to see that positioned over a wrecksite some day instead of sitting in port. I am hoping that comes true one day soon.
