Well i thought the show's tonight were very good ... And tonight there " lingo " did not bother me....My wife even liked tonight's show's...... Ringmaster Tim & King George...Are two guy's that really love to metal detect they are not actors.....I have had there DVD's for 6 years give or take...... And about 5 years ago one night had a nice conversion on the phone with the Ringmaster.......... And they are really nice people..... You don't have to like the show they made some shows i did not like............And some shows i liked...... But i would never run down the Ringmaster or the King .....
Was awesome when he found the ring

That was a BIG PLUS for us as a whole
I enjoyed both shows this time.
the antics were toned down also to one tree climb

which also set better with me
the language ? it's theirs. I do say "cool" allot .
some misguided people may say "keen", "Kickin", "cheez whiz" , or "snoochie boochies"
I'd only use "snoochie boochies" if I was just Hired for a job
with a prestigeous firm, where suit & tie is mandatory.
or Black Tie Event.
they wanna invent their own shortcuts to words, more power to them
I am glad to hear that they are real. I was thinking that the show was mostly made up with planted finds. I personally would not go all flipply like they do every 1o minutes but then again I hunt alone most of the time.
at this point, I'd say they are most definitely real

although if you look real close it appears most finds are reenactments.
I may be wrong but when they pry up the grass it looks like
it pops up a little too easy to be first time.
however at they pull the things out the dirt , it looks first time.
I think it is possible they find & dig & as soon at they see
"roundness" or ?

they push the flap down & call a camera.
which would make sense.
Im a mewbie to metal detecting so I thought there shoertened words were part of the hobby. Glad I didn't start using that slang in front of veteran hunters. Anyway, I enjoy the show and learn alot from watching it. Glad to hear it's not staged.
I believe this is what bugs most of us.
They do say "Diggers Dictionary" meaning their words,
but most don't catch that meaning.
anyway; a late Welcome !
