Just me or is the show seem staged? All the finds seem way too clean and the ground they dig the finds from never match the dirt they have on the relics

I havent noticed that.

Well I give props to anyone making shows and I love all types of detecting shows but seems like this one is just a little made up. I realize they have to add in a few unbelievable finds otherwise they wouldn't have anything to air but come on.

It is defiantly staged to some degree, if you notice, many times the find is there perfectly visible in the bottom of the hole which doesn't happen for me ever. I think some times the find is staged for the camera close up shot.

They certainly have the right sites & time to really find the relics they air,
and agree. The item needs to be checked first to see if they feel it is worth
Ringy climbing a Tree or KG doing somersaults.
so I believe the historian on hand checks it out, ID's it,
then they place it back in the hole for Filming the find.

Real finds but Fake timing & reactions

And most definitely fake metal detector sounds. Hard to hear a detector going off that loud when headphones are plugged in and the sweep of coil doesn't match up to the noise

I have had coins sitting right in the bottom when i remove the plug. Of course the depth has to be right on for that initial plug for that to happen. I have been to parks where more than half my plugs were like that.

You also have to consider we only see a small portion of what got filmed, there must be hours and hours of footage we don't see. I really don't think they fake the objects but I do think they find much more junk than they show us..

I like their attitudes. I wish they would show more of the junk they dig though. They do get some killer places to hunt. Only thing I hate is the annoying fake detector chatter.

I'm suspect that detectorists are only a part of the "Diggers" audience, there are viewers that know nothing of the hobby, hence the weird sounding machine chatter, which is kind of like a laugh track. The tree-climbing antics and yelling is just to hype the finds and keep people interested in the show.
I haven't noticed any odd digs on "Diggers", but I have noticed the disturbed earth below the coils of the guys on "Digfellas". Like the object has been unearthed, put back in hole, covered up, and suddenly it's "a new find".

Yea. I wish it was more like aquachigger and nugget noggin videos. Where u are there watching them as they swing over and discover in real time
