Results of 2/21-3/6/14: out of 3-bags & 14-boxes; got 34-Rosie's (no Merc's), avg per box at 1.7; only 2- skunks, best were 2- boxes with 4- each. Ironically, since I'm also saving all 2009 P&D dimes, I only found a very few in each of the boxes (2-6 per); could this mean that they are drying up as quick as silver did?

Nice finds. More for the stack.

Nice reults. My last two boxes were skunks. As far as the 2009's, your last update got me thinking so I decided to date check my last box and I only found one 2009.

See what I mean about the 2009 dimes. Down deep, not necessarily today or tomorrow, but maybe in 10 years plus, they may become silent sleepers, just like the 1955-S cent or the 1950-D nickel. If that happens, each of my 12 grandchildren will have a roll each P&D, if not then only $10 bucks. Watch them carefully, before their all gone.

I've gotten lazy on dimes and am only rim checking them now so I'm not culling the '09's anymore. 34 AG dimes is a great haul. 1/3rd of a roll a week is a great clip. Nice work my friend.

Since your not going to date check anymore, just rims, be careful not to overlook the darker tea stain color silvers. They can be very easily construed as clad, since most of us eagerly look for only the white rim silver. Also, since your not going to cull the 2009' dimes, put away whatever ones you have for 10-years +/-, and see if I'm right about silent semi-key sleepers. Keep stacking in the meantime.
