8 total which would be 2 per box. Pretty good, I would say! I was doing dime bags for a while a few months ago and never scored any better than boxes. What I found was for the same results, it was a lot more work and my hands were nasty after. It also took me a lot longer than had I done 4 boxes.

On the other hand - Should Grampa dump his coin collection of silver dimes in the coin counter, guess who gets them all? It was that hope that made me keep with the bags for quite a while.
