Dime score - FULL MERC ROLL!

Just when I was bemoaning my latest dime skunk streak, I stopped at a Citizens Bank branch in a supermarket on my way home from work. Picked up $200 in rolled dimes, one of which looked like it was about to crumble into dust. I found out why when I opened one end and saw a winged Mercury head smiling back at me. Opening the other end revealed the same glorious sight. So I carefully opened the roll when I got back to the car......they are ALL Mercuries!!! A CRH first for me!

Oldest was a 1919-S.....only one in the 20's was a '27-P and the rest ranged from late Thirties-Forties.

WOW!!!!! That is incredible!!!!

My wife found a single Merc yesterday, and we've been wondering with amazement...we found a Merc. Who would have ever guessed that we found a Merc?!?!?!?!

I simply cannot imagine finding a whole roll of Mercs!!!!

Awesome find! I have to say that some of my best finds have been at banks in supermarkets. About 8 years ago I was in Utah for work for a week and hit a credit union in a Walmart and scored three solid rolls of 90%ers (mostly walkers and Franklins, but also the only two Barber halves I've ever gotten -- one was a 1901 S in nice shape) and one roll of 40%ers. Have also had other smaller finds, but I would recommend hitting any banks in supermarkets/Walmarts etc that you can -- they have treated me well too.
