Made it back to the historic society permission and completed the dime trifecta. Only 65 more silver coins to reach goal of 100 FTY...

Here is the handful from the morning hunt.

I’m thinking this is some sort of smashed cereal box ring with a gilded house fly? Ideas?

Made it out yesterday for 2 hrs at an old site I have pounded, but wanted to try my small coil. Field was still too high, but hit the fringes.

I’m thinking this is a miniature anvil, or maybe it is some kind of brass farm hardware. Maybe a “K” makers mark.

Also dug a deep 17 signal, usually falsing iron signal, and it was a round blob of rust, but too round to be a typical rusted nut. Brought it home and hammer the rust crust off. Maybe ball bearing or ordinance, site is where I have found Rev War buttons and Nova. Maybe a mm or 2 smaller than a quarter, but did remove a 1/16 -1/8” shell off rust.

Good luck out there!
