Here is the handful from the morning hunt.

I’m thinking this is some sort of smashed cereal box ring with a gilded house fly? Ideas?

Made it out yesterday for 2 hrs at an old site I have pounded, but wanted to try my small coil. Field was still too high, but hit the fringes.

I’m thinking this is a miniature anvil, or maybe it is some kind of brass farm hardware. Maybe a “K” makers mark.

Also dug a deep 17 signal, usually falsing iron signal, and it was a round blob of rust, but too round to be a typical rusted nut. Brought it home and hammer the rust crust off. Maybe ball bearing or ordinance, site is where I have found Rev War buttons and Nova. Maybe a mm or 2 smaller than a quarter, but did remove a 1/16 -1/8” shell off rust.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

That seated dime is great. Well done on a nice set of finds. Only 65 more huh? Lol. You're gonna need one heck of a honey hole. It's not impossible but...

Good luck!

Looks like you got some iron grape-shot there as well.

Awesome trifecta, Thad and honestly.....that mini anvil is one of the coolest digs I've ever seen! I just keep zooming in on it lol.

One of the Purdiest Trifectas I've seen in a while :icon_thumleft:

Thats an awesome hunt! You should have stated in the caption- dime trifecta the HARD way!! Congratulations!

Thx, if I had a trip out to the Pacific Northwest it would be easy to accomplish based on the finds you have been posting, sorry I’m full of sarcasm this morning....

Thx Cru! I’ll add it to my military finds shelf.

Thx John! I saw the title of your latest YouTube vid pop up, looking forward to watching it this afternoon.

Thx! Luckily this site has very few modern era coins for a site that was lived in through the 1980’s.

Thx man!

Nice job. Those are 3 great looking silver dimes.

Thad, congrats on completing the dime trifecta. Here is my best dime trifecta from the same weekend in 2016 (two different sites). The toy anvil is cool. I think the broken key is a keg spigot key. Is this the old farm you thought you would never be allowed to dig on?

Thx Steve! I thought it was a really big broken skeleton key, but you are spot on with the keg spigot key.

Capped Bust Dime is at the top of my list. Nice Trifecta! I’ve found 5 Seated, 0 Bust coins. Yep this is the historical preserved farm. Offer still stands.
